Hello All,

I have a pretty basic question. I am trying to install a DW621 type 1 router in a router table. The manual does not say anything about it. Could not find any additional documentation on the web.

On the base there two sets of threaded holes. There are 4 small ones (about 1/8” diameter) and 2 larger ones (1/4” diameter). If you have this router and use it in a table which set of screws do you use and what size? It seems like the 4 is used to attach the sub-base (a thin plastic plate) as the base is counter-sunk for these, but using just 2 screws seems a little flimsy to attach it to the table.

Thanks for your help.

The holes are metric.

Take your router to a hardware store (the family run kind with the
big shelves of “Servalite” fasteners) and get the staff to help you
figure it.

Have your say...
