The other day I was visiting my father (who is 87) while there he gave me the above mentioned plane that he received from his father, my grandfather. The plane was very dirty from neglect and had some rust on it but not real bad. I plan on using it my shop since it is small it should be a real handy tool. However I have a question, what angle is the Iron sharpened at? Also from what my father told me he always remembers my grandfather having this plane, so if he remembers correctly it must be at least 75 years old can anyone verfy the age from the number 103? Any help would be appreciated….
