Today I was honored to receive a Ringmaster Bowl from my newest LJ buddy, Recycle1943 ( Dick from Malvern Ohio). Thank you very much, Dick…it is a beauty!!!!!. I am amazed at how you can put the radiused pieces in there.
I sent you my E mail so you can send me some shots of the layup of the individual pieces.

This will be a treasure..I cannot make patterns like this the way I make bowls!!

Cheers, Jim

That is a wonderful gift, Jim, and I’m sure that you are very proud to have received such a beautiful bowl as that. Dick did a fine job on it.

Ringmaster is kinda pricey in my book. But I always like the results.

No problem – I sent it to the chaplain at OS and he desensitized it so now it’s non-confrontational

The bowls are of course truly amaxing, well done to Dick, great job.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I just met dick and he is a very talented and generous person. he explained the working of a Ringmaster. I have heard of them but have never see one. This makes Dick another woodworker who works in thousandths in his shop. Making these fine bowl requires very accurate set up using a digital caliper..i love it!!

Here is the link the the Ringmaster site: http://ringmasterlathe.com/

Take a look at some of the pieces that were posted there. Imagination is the only limiting factor to these designs!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers, Jim

LJ friends are some of the best. Dick made a great looking bowl bowl for you and I see you are already interested in how it’s done. Best to both of you.
