I had to take down 3 large pine trees and an oak tree and wanted to know if anyone would be interested in the wood. I thought I would post here before cutting it all down to outdoor firewood that I know will take me forever to use. If anyone is interested please reply. Any questions, I will do my best to answer. Ahhh…too bad. Grew up in West Hartford and am actually going back this weekend, but I live in New Orleans now…would be tough to bring all that down here…

Very nice of you to offer! Most people just cut it into firewood without the generosity you have shown. The oak is generally well liked, the pine is so-so. I am in Oregon or I would snag it all. Call a local mill, they may be very interested in buying the logs.
