Topic tags/keywords: zebrawood walnut This morning, I thought I would show everyone the zebrawood board Mike gave m. I had my son take a picture and just found out he tool it side ways instead of length ways. I thought the zebrawood was an 8 footer. Turns out it is over 10 feet long and there was an 8 foot 3/4 by 6 1/2” wide walnut board. |

Jim, see what happens when you send all that cold wind down here? It has blown in a lotta good here, maybe you will keep the rest of it up there so we can finally have our Spring. lol |

All Can’t say the wind has blown in any good, but then nothing bad has happened either. Well, maybe I’ll be more optomistic when I get my first cup of coffee down….............(-: -- Jim, Anchorage Alaska |

Jim it is not much warmer in Northern CA. Strange weather this year. -- We must guard our enthusiasm as we would our life - James Krenov |

Hi Wayne, yes, it has been a little strange everywhere. Usually when you are cold and rainy down in the lower 48, we are warm and dry up here, and vice versa, just because of how the jet stream affects the weather. Maybe that slight jog in the earth’s axis from the Japanese quake is reversing global warming…......(-: -- Jim, Anchorage Alaska |

Hey Rand; Looks like that shinny new saw will start off being fed some fine lumber. Be careful you don’t spoil it. Lee -- by Lee A. Jesberger http://www.prowoodworkingtips.com http://www.ezee-feed.com |

Great wood there Rand. We will look forward to a nice project from that. As for the weather, it looks more like global wetting than warming to me! -- Mike, American in Norway |

OK, I reset the blade alignment, now .000 front and rear. I ripped some 3/16” stickers and restacked my wood. Now if resetting my skill level were as easy….....lol |

Rand I am running an 80 tooth Diablo crosscut on my RAS. My TS runs a WWII. I replaced another Freud wiith the WWII, but I am not sure there is a heck of a lot of difference. The Freud blades are generally dynamite in my experience. I use thin kerf because on both the RAS and TS. -- Jim, Anchorage Alaska |

Jim, I was talking to patron about thin kerf and full kerf. He prefers the full kerf and has me very interested, but I’ll be dipped if I can find any. lol When David talks about woodworking I listen. lol On his visit last fall, I was amazed at what he accomplished with my junk. Made me decide to get some good equipment. I would like to get a WWII for this saw, but that won’t happen for about a year. I gotta pay this puppy off and then pay off a new three door fridge for Momma. lol |
