I still have lots of Birdseye maple all rough and 12’ to 18’’ way too much for me to ever use.

Wow! Let me see what my wallet says about paying for another box of that stuff, Mr R! I’ll try to get back to you in the next week or two.

I would strongly encourage some other folks here to get some of this. I already paid to ship one box and it’s some of the most beautiful and stable birdseye I’ve ever used (approximate shipping from Canada to MI, USA was $36 for a 20lb box. Check shippers’ current rates to be sure). Just the fact that it’s been split for firewood ensures the strongest grain and most beautiful figure possible. GET SOME IF YOU CAN! It’s well worth it.

Damn I’m tempted! How much you asking for a fellow canuck? Any idea of shipping costs from NB to Manitoba? Bus would probably be cheapest. I do mostly smaller stuff so wouldn’t need that kind of length. Even 3 or 4 footers would do me.
