I think I’d just sweep ‘em up into a pile and lie down and nap!

I hope that he doesn’t let cats in the shop. Not that I do, I have firecrackers to take care of that. But if I roll my planer outside to use and don’t setup the BBQ grill cover to catch the shavings the local cats come and leave little presents.

That’s funny Darrell. My first thought was about cats using the chip pile like a litter box, because that’s what my cat does when she can. So anyway, Bubinga, was there alcohol involved with this or was he just trying to recapture a little of his lost childhood?

Made me smile too!! My shop dog Sadie loves to curl up in the shavings after I’ve been on the lathe. For some unknown reason prefers it over her rug.

I am so glad I looked at the responses to this post. Now I don’t feel like my dogs are as crazy as I once thought they were. I have put down rugs for them in my shop. I even once had an old couch in there for them. They have always preferred the sawdust though.

What is it with it with dogs, and wood shavings. Dogzilla’s idea of nirvana is to plop down right in a pile of wood chips, or sawdust. Of course SWMBO is just pleased as punch if he manages to get in the house without me brushing him off.
