OK, so it’s a 1 car garage, but it only has tools in it, but it has become infested.

I have taken 3 showers today so far to get the millions of bird mites off of me.
It turns out, that a couple sets of birds have gotten through the soffets and have built 2 nests… one has hatched and left, the other still has chicks in it. But, today i found out that their mites have now moved into my shop. Boy do they itch!

Anyways, I have the exterminators coming by tomorrow… hopefully the bugs go away. They are making my shop time unbearable!

My wife ran into the same problem when visiting friends after several showers the only thing that got rid of them was a dip in a pool. I hope you get rid of those bad guys.

Lol, I got a nice wake up a week or two ago…

I stumbled out into the shop to grab a screwdriver early in the morning, didn’t bother to turn on the lights as I know my shop by Braille.

SQWUUUAAAAK! CHIIIIRRPP! TWEEEET! BGAAAWWWW! FLAP FLAP FLAP!

I woke up a couple of sleeping birdies that had somehow found their way in the night before and decided to take a nap on my workbench.

I am now recovering very nicely from my subsequent heart attack! (j/k)

Unless you seal all the openings where the birds get in, the problem will persist. Birds got into my shop and destroyed some of the ceiling insulation and bombed away on the surfaces of my saw, workbench, etc.

Have your say...
