Hi folks,

This CRAIG’S LIST online tool is helping me out big time to find lumber, tools, fallen trees, firewood, etc.

It basically allows you to choose from 1-52 states to search at one time through craigs list.

See the screen shots to see what I mean.
This only works on the Firefox browser however and you’ll need to follow their directions to change 1 setting.

Thanks for the post. I use it occasionally and have to stumble around to find the lumber posting.

I want to share my own experience of buying on Craigslist.

My husband and I used to occasionally search/shop Craigs’ list for builders’ suplies, lumber and firewood. The bad thing is that most of the good deals were gone by the time we called since we did not have the habit to check every day / every hour.

We found it much more convenient to subscribe to Craigslist email alerts (I have added a link here) and get updates by email.

I hope you will find this advise useful and it will help you to save some time and money, too :-)

Below are some screen shots to show how it works.
