I had been wanting to get some oak, mainly because I only had darker wood in the shop. When I came upon a craigslist post for 2×6 oak planks. Who am I to argue? So I go figuring it is going to be alot of picking for one or two pieces, well not as bad as I thought. I will have to do some culling but I’ve already spotted 10bf or more of qtr sawn. I think Im going to use this to trim out the extension table and outfeed table Im working on. To the right is a pile of 3/8 and 3/4 plywood that I will have to find a use for. Anyway a pretty good day of picking and only about $15 in fuel.

This was after a quick run over the jointer, and edged on the table saw. Im pretty sure I can finagle a thickness planer out of this

Thank for looking
