With as many LJ members as there are, I would guess there a few in central Ohio. Is there any way of finding each other besides the computer?

I’m not too far from you in Northern Kentucky.
I have a sign outside of my studio.

I lived in Dublin, but that doesn’t help you. I’ve seen several ID pictures with Buckeye’s of some type. check the “Jocks” tab and I’m sure you’ll find some.

I just saw you are in Columbus. We lived not too far from the concrete corn on Rings Rd. Woodcraft down the street, Rockler down town (I think they closed) and Wood Werks out east. We moved to blacklick for a few years and pretty close to Wood Werks was a hardwood dealer. He worked out of a free standing garage. Hardly ever there. Thats a great area of the country.

I’m up north from you Chardon, Ohio just east of Cleveland. Snow capitol and now rain capitol.

Might think about a LJ meetup in the area and see who responds? I know myself and Lockwatcher are close. FYI, the Rockler store is now part of Woodwerks, and resides in the back room there on Claycraft road.

OO there are lots of places to find people in Central Ohio. We have a woodworkers group,
Central Ohio Woodworkers, that meets in Westerville and Delaware.
We have a woodturners Group Central Ohio Woodturners (Cows)
We have a carving group Columbus woodchippers

And I am a huge fan of the woodworking stores, both stores help out the woodworking groups all the time!

At the top of this page, there is a “jocks” tab. Some of the members will list their city and state. I don’t think there is a way to sort out just Ohio, but if you have the time you could browse that area.

Also a search of the site for “Ohio” might provide some results.
