Not every autoparts store carries machine belts. Napa does. Just take the belts in and they will match them up.

Any Grainger store will have the right size belts. Just bring one in and they’ll match it.

I used the Gates premium AX belts on my Unisaw. They worked great. I bought them at Oreilly’s auto parts store.

What size belt did you get the length I’m thinking is probably around 24 in

I think that is right. It was over a year ago. The Gates Premium AX belts are so good they do not need to be matched. They already are. You have to size the belts to the pulley size. I have a 3HP Baldor 3400 motor.

I found this on another site for a 3450rpm motor you need ax24/4L260 belts. Ax27/4L290 for a 1725rpm motor.

The link I gave above to the VM Wiki lists the belts sizes used through the years – they were different depending on what motor and arbor pulley size you have. Generally, for anything after the 50’s (unless modified by a PO at some point) standard A24 (AX24, 4L260, etc…) belts can be used.

Brad
