Topic tags/keywords: question blog process deleting how to using blog page

I have a blog that is now finished. How can I get it off my homepage if not off Lumber Jocks? Also, suppose someone starts a blog (newbie maybe) makes a mess of it and wants to start over. How can they clean up the mess if the edit time has expired?

Ok, thank you for your help. I don’t necessarily want to delete a blog. I am just learning what can be done on this forum. Thanks again.

most members leave their blogs for future reference by themselves and fellow woodworkers (now and in the future)

you can edit a blog but keep in mind that the comments on the original post will remain

I think you can request that a discussion be closed (I hope I have this one right.. so don’t quote me on it)

you can also request that it be deleted entirely if you so choose. This is a more complex process as each of the comments also have to be deleted

Mike, if you want to delete it then you will have to send Martin a message and ask him to do so. Once the edit time has passed then the blog becomes permanent.
