I had not been on line for several months but when I came back to post a recent project I found the same old enjoyable LJ that I remembered.

For the last couple of days the format/layout/look of my LJ page is radically changed. It is large and stretched out and NOT easy to view. Is this a change made by LJ or did I accidentally change the view. I’ve surfed around a bit and don’t see anything I’ve done. I know you can’t know what I did on my end so I’m just asking if this change has effected others, too or is it just operator error on my end. (verrrry possible) thanks for any input.

Cheers,

Choppertoo

since the site got new ownership
changes are being made
mostly good improvements
but from time to time
they are working on some glitch
but it does come back around

some of the format has changed yes
it is all still here
just in a different way at times

I’ll assume that “stretched out” means LJ’s is larger than your “Standard Page” on your Monitor and that you have to use the Vertical or Horizontal Sliders on the side and bottom to view the Page? Yes? No?

On your Lower Right Corner is a Percentage Number that you can set to whatever you want, 50% up to 400% or Custom. Mine is now at 130% and the Sliders are there, but I prefer a larger view. I just dropped it to 100% and I can hardly see what I’m typing ..LOL..

You been Messing with those settings???..LOL…

Nothing in those “Standard Settings” will give you a Perfect Fit, at least for here. So! I’m gonna share with you an OLD Family Secret taught to me by my Great Grandfather on his Computer.. RICK!! LIAR!! LIAR!! Oh Shut Up!

Assuming you have a Mouse On Wheels (Scroll Wheel) ..Hold down Ctrl. (Lower Left of Keyboard) at the same time, Turn the Mouse Wheel. Your Page should now Increase or Decrease to whatever size you’d like to have it at.

Lots of FUN also!! At Minimum Size I can take this page down to about Half the size of a Dollar Bill. At Maximum every Letter is about 1”+!! Very Handy for those “Sites” where you might like to have a “Closer Look” ...LOL…

Let me know if this helps please.
