I literally just placed an HF order. I didn’t realize you could stack all the freebie coupons into one order. Oh well, I’m swimming in those free flashlights and scissors. I usually just use code 34987313 and get a free 12” ratcheting clamp. Incredibly poor clamping pressure, but can be useful at times for light duty jobs. And its worth every penny I pay for them.

Everytime someone brings up that dust collector, I have the same thought. “Why do I still use a 15-20 yo 3/4hp Delta dust collector when that 2hp HF model can be had for soooo cheap.” I bought the Delta off CL for $30 about a year ago. It works OK, but is louder than hell and bags are difficult to find.

Tedstor, I didn’t know that I could stack them either, I just tried it to see if I could and it worked.

grantlairdjr, all I did was google harbor freight discount codes or coupons and there were numerous sites that popped up. I went to several different sites to find all available coupons, I think I found them all.

You’re gonna love the DC. Get some good bags. I used the ones from Highland Woodworking in Atlanta. Well worth the $$.

I added a canister filter from Grizzly H5783 to the top of mine. $175.00 But I don’t have to fight with the dustbags any more. Much better airflow.

Great pickup on the HF DC! I have had mine for a year and half and couldn’t be happier. I haven’t upgraded to the better bags yet but will in the near future. I didn’t know that you could combine coupons on online orders. They won’t let you do that for free stuff at my local HF retail store, but glad to hear you had luck.

What was the shipping on the DC?

justinwdemoss, the shipping was $28.94 plus $12.47 for tax. On a side note, where do you live in loveland? Before my 9 years in the Marine Corps I lived with my parents on Rich Rd by the high school.

Tedstor, thanks for the heads up!

I just got a Wynn Environmental 35A nano hepafilter (35A274NANO $165 +~$25 shipping, 274 Sq. Ft. of filter!) for my HF 2HP collector. When I called them up Bill Wynn (actual owner!) answered the phone and chatted with me for a few minutes about what I was planning to do (you don’t see that much anymore). They included a free bottom bag as well!

Still working on building the Thein top hat baffle (building a new cart and turning the unit on its side to sit on top of the baffle collector). I built it once HF’s way.. now its my turn :D

rum, I just might do the same! I havent even been able to open the box that it’s in yet, I’m waiting to close on a house before I dig into everything. Heck, I haven’t even been able to open up and play with my Grizz 1023RLW that I got back in… Feb? Housing market here sucks to say the least!
