I have an older Standley Bostitch brad nailer Model BT35B. I just purchased several new packages of brads. Bostitch BT1332B-1M. These will not fit into my nailer and allow the slide to close, the brads appear to be to long and the head will not fit into the groove to allow the gate to close. any help will be appreciated.

Try the GripTite brand. They work in both my new and old Bostich guns.

measure the length of the nails. BT1332B-1M are supposed to be 1 1/4 long. BT1335B-1M and BT1338B-1M are 1 1/2 inch long. Your nails may, MAY, be mislabeled. If so contact Bostitch for replacement and to let them know there’s a problem.
