Can someone post a close up photo of the belt piece of this sander ? Specifically how the washers, spring, and other parts are supposed to be placed on the knob at the narrower end. Mine came apart and the diagram doesn’t show this particular area exploded.

Does this help? There’s another washer between the spring & the frame. (upper end of the spring in the photo)

Going from the knob, it’s large washer, small washer, frame, small washer, spring.

Steve, thank you! There was a tiny rubber washer that I slipped over the threads and that prevents the small washer inside the frame from dropping off if the bolt is removed.

Thanks a ton – really appreciate it.
