I came across a Ridgid table saw today and bought it (less than $100). It was inexpensive because the plastic base was cracked though I can repair it with some aluminum straps and rivets. Everything else was fine and it cuts without a problem. Ended up being too heavy of a saw for the guy so he got a smaller one.

Problem is I can’t identify whether it’s a TS2400 or TS2410. The only model number readily available was for the mobile folding base (model AC9930). The base on the saw was grey and the rip fence snapped into two clips under the right extension wing; so I know it’s an older model.

Is there a way to tell with having the model number on it with some distinguishable differences? I want to order a new brush and insert but need to identify what model/version it is…..

No pictures available at the moment….

From what I understand they’re pretty much the same saw except for a different style mobile stand. No changes were made to the motor or fence. Sorry I can’t give more specifics.

That’s what my thoughts were as I put the parts diagrams side by side and everything seems to match up. I figured it shouldn’t matter from that perspective but would like to know which one this is.

I was also visiting http://www.leecraftzeroclearance.com/ and noticed that there are different inserts depending on the model—which was my bigger concern.

—Model #CR-1 Leecraft Zero-Clearance Table Saw Insert fits Sears CRAFTSMAN 10” belt-drive models 1977 to mid 2004 (Check size, see DL-1U), RIDGID TS2412, TS2424, TS2400 (Please Note: CR-1 does not fit models TS2400LS, TS2400-1 or the new TS2410)

—Model #RG-2 Leecraft Zero-Clearance Table Saw Insert fits RIDGID TS2400-1, TS2400LS, and TS2410LS saws

I suppose I could order both and return which ever one doesn’t fit. That’s why I was really hoping to know whether I’ve got an ‘LS’ or not.

Have your say...
