If the video does not load here’s written report of the incident. I’m glad he was not killed.

WOODLAWN, MD — Officials say one person has serious injuries Thursday after lighting a cigarette in a vehicle. Emergency personnel were dispatched at 11:24 a.m. to a reported vehicle fire in Woodlawn.

Once they arrived in the 1600 block of Whitehead Court, first responders found one person whom they took to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center’s burn unit for treatment of serious injuries.

Officials said that the person had sprayed aerosol deodorant, then lit a cigarette.

The victim was outside The Restaurant Store at the time, according to WJZ, which reported that the store manager heard what sounded like an explosion and called 911. The roof had blown off the car outside.

A similar explosion occurred in September in England, where a woman lit a cigarette that interacted with an aerosol air freshener in her car, blowing it apart, according to the Daily Mail.

Roll on or stick deodorant does NOT have this problem. Maybe time to 1. quit smoking, or 2.change deodorant type.

But hey what do I know?
