Topic tags/keywords: lumber hardwood supplier

I’ve found a couple of operations that sell hardwood and softwood lumber either rough or you can have them surface 2 sides.
Does anybody know of quality suppliers to buy rough and s4s lumber in the DFW area?

I’m probably more interested in s4s since I don’t have a planer and am not skilled enough yet to tackle it with a hand plane. Thanks for the help.

JP, you could check with Brazos in Grand Prairie. Most place will s2s for you and Brazos’ site mentions cutting to width with a glue ready finish. However, there will be an additional change for these services which is how most woodworkers justify jointers, planers and table saws. Good luck with your search.

Thank you AandCstyle. I’ll keep that one in mind coupled with the 2 others I am somewhat familiar with.
Thanks for the advice.
