Im buying a dust collector and I think Im going to go with the grizzley model g1029z2or the model1030z2 one is a one bag 2hp and the other a 2bag 3 hp my shop is 30×48 with a shop fox 3hp table saw 8in shop fox jointer 14 in shop fox band saw shop fox6in x48in belt and 12in disk sander 12in dewalt chopsaw plus a scroll saw.I think either one would handle the dust collection part Im more concerned about the noise levels.Has anybody had any experience with these two units? Thank You Dan P.

My G1029 isn’t overly loud…pretty much the same as most DC unit’s I’ve heard. Never heard the G1030.

The bigger the HP the more it will get loud.
My shop is about 450 SF. I have the G0583Z dust collector,1 HP is barely enough for 1 machine. If I did it again, I would get a 3HP duct collector.
