Topic tags/keywords: question

I don’t know exactly when this started, or even if it’s a problem. But it seems goofy to me.

If you open up a project and then scroll down a little bit (maybe to read the last part of the project description), then hit the “Zoom Pictures” button, the first picture shows up all right, but the PREV NEXT CLOSE menu is not visible. If you then scroll back up, you can see the PREV NEXT CLOSE menu inside of a big brown rectangle.

It that the way it’s supposed to work? Seems like something is broken to me.

—Russ

Scroll down a little bit, like this, then click Zoom Pictures>

First picture shows up okay, but no PREV NEXT CLOSE menu:

PREV NEXT CLOSE menu appears if you scroll back up:

which browser are you using?

It seems that this is the core of most problems – all the recent browser updates seem to be talking different languages.

@MsDebbieP: I first noticed the problem using Firefox version 3.5.3. It also does exactly the same thing in IE6, Firefox 3.6.15, and Firefox 4.0.

Thanks,

I never use the zoom button so I checked it out. It’s working on my computer – just a thin brown bar with the next (etc) on it.

That’s the extent of my expertise. I’ll make sure the techy people see this

Thank you! Just for grins, could you tell me what browser you are using (where it works)?

Okay. I am Macless, so no way to try that here. I will wait to see what the technopeeps say. Just for their information, I have demonstrated the problem on two different computers, both running Windows XP Home with Service Pack 3.

Thanks again.

Just to add, mine is doing the same thing. Firefox 4.0 on a PC.

I don’t have this problem, running Firefox 4.0.1 on Vista.

I am xp with IE8 and had the problem several weeks ago on random projects where only the first picture would expand and no way to get it to move to the others. It was only some projects and they seem to be working for past week.

I ran into the problem again with the post;
http://lumberjocks.com/projects/47722

I can see the first picture, it expands larger if I click it, but no way to go to the next picture.

It doesn’t matter if i scroll up or down.

thanks Steve.
I’m glad I’m not the one who has to try and write the code to work with all the browsers!
(that link works fine on my computer).

But, the more information we have, I’m sure it will help Martin find the solutions.)

I get the same thing but it’s not an “always” thing. When it does happen I just close the project pictures and reopen them. They are clear of all adds.

Using a Mac and safari.

This is similar to the problem that I posted about yesterday. Today it seems to be working just fine. But it has been intermittent recently so I guess I’ll hope it keeps working.
