Anyone know anything on the performance of the Rikon 10-110 sliding table saw?

Hi Lou. I use one in a community craft center shop and am not impressed. The sliding table is a nice feature if you’re cutting down table tops or sheet goods and I really also like the off switch you can hit with your knee. But the negatives outweigh those good points. I find it impossible to get a clean cut with it – maybe because of excessive run-out though I’ve never measured for it. But no matter what blade you use – crosscut or rip – you get a lousy cut. The same blades on my jet do a much better job. Its also a pain to change blades because the arbor nut isn’t a good fit to the arbor. It’s very difficult to turn on there and I think the problem is in the arbor because the nut on this particular saw has been replaced. Anyway, it seems to have been discontinued for a reason. Hope that helps.
