A week ago my (approx) 5 year old CarbaTec motor and controller went south. I was unable to find a US distributor (PSI no longer sells them). CarbaTec never got back in touch with me.
So I bought the 1/2 hp VS motor from PSI knowing that I needed to do some modification to the connector plate.
The needed modification is not too difficult but I wanted it done by a machine shop to be as accurate as I could get it.
What I am having done will work but if there were a specific adapter for use with the CarbaTec it would be better.
My query is: Are there some/enough CarbaTec owners out there with the same problem that would be interested in upgrading their 1/4 hp motor to the 1/2 hp motor?
The current cost of the 1/2 hp motor is $109 including shipping. I do not yet have an estimate on what the adapter would cost.

-- No piece is cut too short. It was meant for a smaller project.
