listening to it right now. I like it. Both these guys have great personalities that make them great fun to listen to.

This “nudge” got me to start downloading podcasts – oh my, there are just so many great ones out there.. I may never listen to the radio again!

when I went into iTunes to subscribe to Matt & Marc’s invividual ones I found another one in there http://www.woodshoptalk.com/WoodshopTalk/Podcast/Podcast.html, but only 4 entries and nothing new since December. I e-mailed him and invited us to join here!

Yea, let’s get that LJTV going and give The Woodworking Channel some competition. I like their wood shows, which are broadcasts of previous series from PBS usually. I am not such a fan of their in-house productions as they are mostly advertisements for various products.

Good point Drew. The Apple TV is one of the first real convergence machines out there. But for just a few hundred more, you can get a Mac Mini and not only get your podcasts and internet video, but you can have a fully functional PC to boot. Thats what we do and I LOVE IT!

I didn’t know there were so many shows or networks dedicated to wood working. I don’t have an Apple and the whole Itunes thing freaks out the computer. I did check out The Wood Whisperer and thats a nice site. Lots of good stuff. Hey Bill, What is the LJTV thing? ust be something I missed. Cool stuff here though I really am liking this site. You all have been really great and have some awesome talent here. I fear my skills pale in comparison to all of you. But I am willing to learn and have some fun.

LJTV is our abbreviation for Lumberjocks TV. We were thinking of all kinds of ideas on how to expand Lumberjocks. It started when Obi suggested a magazine, we went further and suggested things like a co-op, podcasts, and LJTV.
