Thanks Betsy. But when I checked my home page and all the posts that I had made on the subject were gone it just kind of seemed weird to me…. Just seems so strange…. BUT, I do know the thread was getting out of hand. I guess it’s the only way Martin could try to get things back to normal…..?

More like civility. Martin is a good host. He keeps things in line. And at the same time we can all express our opinions.

You know, I guess not many thought about it, but I’m pretty sure (from the way it sounds) that what that turned into is actually against the law. Some pretty hefty fines could have come down because of the threats. Anyway, I’m glad it’s over. I’m very happy I found this site. The site is great to browse even if you are not a member, but being a Jock and having the privilege to post comments and replies is a great feeling. We are not just woodworkers, scrollers, carvers, etc. here…..... We are PEOPLE!

I for one am glad it’s over. I see that Woodchuck posted an apology to Gords mirror and bowed out. Martin whacked the “Rudeness” post and stated that he and Debbie are working out the details to prevent future catastrophies like that. He also requested that in the future, if this ever happens again, that we should PM (Martin) about it. I know I will. I also hope this Woodchuck finds the help he so desperately cries out for.

So lets get back to the good old grind, shall we?

Been gone for four days having part of my colon removed due to cancer, so I missed this and from what I have read above I am glad I did. This is such a great website. We don’t need things like that, whatever it was.
