I did a review on my WEN Scroll saw. A lot of people are singing the praises of WEN tools lately. Months ago I needed a 1×30/belt/disc sander and a scroll saw.

I liked the Grizzly on both BUT the WENs were a lot cheaper. SO I was thinking go both on WEN. BUT as Half arsed as I am I finally settled on a Grizzly sander and WEN scroll saw.

I wish I had gone WEN on both.

I had the WEN out of the box and cutting in less than 30 minutes. Which was half the cost of the same thing from Grizzly.

I had yo take the Grizzly apart to shave the FLASH off the Grizzlies main wheel so it would make such a racket. I also had to TRU UP both grizzlies secondary wheels. And it is still out of balance.

The WEN scroll saw operates flawlessly SMOOTH as a glass. The grizzly walks all over my bendch

NEXT time I am buying all WEN

I bought the WEN air cleaner for a little over a hundred – it works great and the fit and finish was spot on, quiet motor, clears the air like it’s supposed to. You never know with stuff unless you take a chance.

WEN comes from the same factory as PowerTec stuff. They seem very well made for a good price. I have 2 air cleaners in my shop, one PowerTec and one WEN but either remote controls both…lol.

I also have a WEN scroll saw and it seems very well made as well. Surprising to get decent quality for the price when usually HF only had them in that price range in the past.

I have a drill press which is a JET knockoff.
Mine isn’t badged WEN but I’m pretty sure
it’s the same. Perfectly satisfactory machine.

I bought a wen power planer. It was about 40 bucks if i remember correctly. I dont use it often, but very satisfactory performance when i do use it. I use a makita at work, and although they’re not the same quality, i would consider the wen to be a great value.

My Wen Air Filtration and Wen 8” slow speed grinder work fine. Both at great prices.

I have looked into their drill presses and if I ever decide to upgrade from my little Harbor Freight model, I will likely go with Wen. The same is true for a few other tools and an air filtration system.

I plan on trying out the 12 inch benchtop one after I get done building this cabinet for my TS. The 8 inch benchtop Delta will be my 3rd drill press set up for pilot holes, the big boy is for woodworking only stuff. If I get it now I know I will unpack and immediately want a new cabinet, drawer, etc etc and get sidetracked…..
