I’m remodeling my kitchen. I’m going to focus on refinishing the cabinet bases, but would like to find someone near Wichita, KS who would make replacement doors and possibly drawer fronts. The material would be oak in a simple shaker style. I’m guessing something in the neighborhood of 30 cabinet doors and 15 drawer fronts. Let me know if you are interested. Thx.

Have you looked into Conestoga? They have very competitive pricing and great quality.

Jack….I see your not a door maker

Last time i sent a batch to new jersey…..I beast the locals there by about 20 percent

Where did you come up with the notion that his doors may be had for 20 bucks ?

What do you base that on ? How do you price yours ? 20 ea….reguardless of size

I did just what you’re doing GR. I was going to use https://www.cabinetdoormart.com/cabinet-doors/shaker but eventually found a local cabinetmaker to make my doors and finish them too.

Thanks for the comments.

It appears that Conestoga will not sell to individuals.

Cabmaker – I was hoping to find someone local to save on shipping costs, but if you think your pricing would be competitive then I will take some measurements and shoot you a PM for a quote.

The circa $20/door sounds like a quite low number to me, but then Jack has real business experience as a cabinet and furniture maker. There are a lot of variables, such as type of material used, finished or un-finished, some hardware included or not. Maybe the way these jobs get built tend toward a price for doing the builiding work, and another bill for the materials consumed.

Good luck on the project, Gravelroad, and post some pictures when you have this all settled.

It’s still slow in the KC area and a lot of guys standing around. Something is better than nothing cause nothing doesn’t make payroll… Not every shop feels this way but it can lead to future work when you help someone today in a slow time. Word of mouth is loud these days…

Even the company I work for has been on 4 day weeks for 2.5 months. It will pick up in a week or two as the orders are in.

I would suggest a hard push to get these doors done now as they will ignore you when they get busy..

Haven’t see any free pizza in awhile.
