how to finish paduk?

Douglas Bordner home \| projects \| blog 2707 posts in 592 days 253 days ago	Paint a little diluted white glue (glue size) over the sapwood, or use another type of finish, such as a waterborne. I assume that you are referring to the bleed-over of red into the sapwood (I don’t believe I have ever seen a piece of padauk with sapwood – is it white?) when you use a solvent based finish such as shellac or lacquer. BTW- great handle! -- "Bordnerizing" perfectly good lumber for over a decade.
