Some white kid in custody sounds bad.
Of course ABC has started the anti gun stuff, but no anti Facebook.

This protest thing is insanity. Stopped on the side of the road to help a woman change a tire. She rants and raves about Trump this and that. I asked, "can we leave the politics alone and focus on the job at hand?" Well that launched her into a full frontal assault how I am a Trumper and a gun nut and mentally unstable and one of those people. Not someone I know, never showed a weapon (okay the lug wrench can be deadly I know) nor did I say anything other than ask if she needed some help. And of course can we leave the politics alone and focus on the job at hand. (changing a destroyed tire, probably Trumps fault).

Having had my fill of the vile rhetoric I got up, put my jack and wrench back in the car and left. Amazing, you cannot even be nice anymore and help someone out. They would rather insult and rant at you then keep quiet and say "Thank you."

You can really hurt someone's feelings.
Or get suspended from kindergarten. Like my son did. When it's aimed at a teacher.

Apparently throwing rocks at a teacher is frowned upon.

Butcher, you're a better man than I. I probably would've take her tire completely off before dropping it on the ground. Spitting in her face might've been optional.

Fridge- it's paid and paying all my bills since 1977.

Caboxmaker- All Bout Clintons

Bigblockyeti- check the date this was 2 days before the other.

How have the children that were playing video games and "not responsible enough to own guns" their quote, get so organized and the money to do all this national sit ins, meeting with state official, heading to the White House, etc?
Ever hear of George Soros, he knows what Crystal Night was and we all know how people through time treat others.

Everyone be safe, enjoy life, carry when you can and always look four ways in case you need to put a mongrel down.

More like CDS (Clinton Derangement Syndrome).

Yeah, it's not like they have parents, or you know relatives, that are shocked and dismayed by this latest NRA.
approved massacre.

I saw that several people donated $500K each to their march. I'm gonna send them some money to help. Thanks to swingleft, I know who to give to to work against Ryan and Nunes and some of the other republican creeps in office.

I think it is important that we take a moment to make sure our members understand where the fine line is between an open discussion vs. an inflammatory topic that may trigger hate type debates.

As an example, it is perfectly okay to have discussions concerning racism as a whole (in the off topic area) and how that has an impact on society. When it comes down to it, more often than not, communication is the key to finding solutions to many of the social issues in our lives today.

HOWEVER, it is not okay to have discussions which attack groups of people as a whole, incite hate, or uses personal opinion as fact to open a discussion.

For instance, we would not start a thread like this one . . .

Why Do Purple People Hate, Kill, and Eat Green People?

Why don t we open topics in this manner?

(1) If you are assuming that all purple people, hate, kill, and eat green people based on one purple person (or a group of radical purple people) doing those things then that is not a fact for discussion. It s simply your personal bias concerning purple people.

(2) Because hate topics rarely do anything about actually finding solutions. They only increase the hate and further decrease communication.

Does that mean we are limiting your right to free speech?

Nope! You are 100% free to stand on the street corner and say whatever you want about what you believe. That is between you and your local law enforcement. You can write anything you want on your own website. That s between you and your hosting company and perhaps Homeland Security.

But here in the community, the owners of LumberJocks and I get to choose where that line is drawn.

C'mon y'all. Knock it off. Moving forward I am gonna start locking the accounts of those unable to discuss topics in a respectful manner. Take a minute to review this. http://lumberjocks.com/CricketW/blog/42535
