My machine just installed a bunch of updates including IE9. Now the “My Lumberjocks” button does not work. I cannot get to my favorites, profile etc. The icon turns to a hand but clicking does nothing.

Anyon else encounter this problem.\?

There a lot of problems with IE 9,I can’t tell you how to fix it yet
That is why I don’t allow windows to automatically install updates
I have not installed IE 9
I suggest using FireFox ,or Google Chrome, for time ,being
Stay away from beta versions

Firefox works great for me, but I’ve heard about IE9, sounds like a lot of problems. I’ve been told the same thing can happen if you install the new firefox beta version 4.0.

I did a system restore so I am back at IE8 now.

E.J.
I dont allow it to automatically update either. But I had not heard of problems with IE9 so I went ahead and installed it. Now it is in the “hidden” catagory.

I refuse to update to IE9, but perhaps the compatibility mode would work?

Also, FF4 is out of beta, but I heartily recommend Chrome

Yes, the compatibility mode clears it all up. Had the same problem.

By the Tools menu item, click the arrow. Then click Compatibility View.

Fixed.

MS should have made that clear somewhere along the way.

You might try to reinstall the tool bar. I haven’t had any problems with IE9 at all. I’m running windows 7 ultimate, maybe thats why don’t know..

Thanks for the heads up on the compatibility view. The site is working for me once again.

I’ve just updated Javascript libraries used on this website so issues in IE9 should be resolved even in the non-compatibility default mode.
