i stumbled upon the Bosch spring actions catalog for europe today in a store, where they present all their new tools and deals.
i quickly went to the miter saw page and still no news in europe for their new glider saw thats been out in the states for a while.
but i also saw their new excentric sander:
http://www.bosch-presse.de/presseforum/details.htm?txtID=5057&tk_id=112
the GEX 125-150 AVE, what is special about it is that it is said to be the most vibration free sander on the market, and it can hold 125 and 150mm pads, 5’ and 6’. both are apparently supplied
from what i understand, the mechanical parts are not solidly attached to the exterior body, so it doesn’t transmit vibrations.

other innovation i saw was a flexible hose camera and screen that function on their 10.8v drill battery, for mechanics to look inside engines etc for troubleshooting without dismantling.

This looks like a very nice sander.
I wonder how much it will cost?

in europe it’s gonna cost around €270, thats more expensive than the old model wich i payed €205.
translated to USD that makes $390.
but i see that again on amazon tools are way cheaper in the states, i think you can expect something around $180.

Have your say...
