Jointech Smartfence inserts

I purchased a Jointech Smart fence system over 2 years ago. When delivered I only received one Smart fence insert. After repeated attempts to contact Jointech over the last two years for the extra inserts that I did not receive with my order I have given up trying to get them Jointech.
I have decided to see if I can have them manufactured. I was wondering if anyone else out there is in the same situation as I am in and needs more Smart fence inserts. I have been told that the larger the quantity I purchase the lower the cost per unit would be. I am currently working on the CAD drawing to submit to several vendors to get a cost estimate on the cost to make the inserts so I do not have any prices. I am trying to find out if there is any interest so I can give the vendor the quantity I would like manufactured. So if anyone is interested in the inserts or knows of someone who is response to this post.

Gene Howe home \| projects \| blog 3217 posts in 1626 days #1 posted 802 days ago	Willy, I could use 6, or more. I’ll bet we could have them cut by someone with a CNC. They wouldn’t have to be semi hollow. A stable wood would work for me in AZ. I know of a couple of shops that I believe can make them from delrin. The one block I have I believe is made out of a 3/4 inch block of delrin, it is machined not molded There is no machining of the block except for the round parts that fit into the fence. Delrin is very moisture resistance. If you know of any other sites I can get my message out on let me know. I would like to get as many produced to reduce cost. I have attached a picture of the insert that I have. Willy

ducksoup home \| projects \| blog 1 post in 239 days #4 posted 222 days ago	LumberJock newbe here. 35+ years in woodworking. i bought my Jointech fence several years ago and built my router table specifically for it. I might be interested also but I’m concerned about a solid delrin one though. The originals were set up with that thin center panel that you could feed a spinning router bit through it to get the perfect fit. I’m not sure I’d want to do that with 3/4” solid delrin? I suppose they could be made so the center part is hollowed out leaving about 1/8” or I could probably do it on my buddys milling machine too. Let me know what you find out. Tom
