I’m looking at a used Wallace Model 10 8” jointer. They’re asking $350. Seems like a great price for an 8” jointer but I know nothing about this brand. Anyone have any experience with this?

there was a similar post a few years back: http://lumberjocks.com/topics/62347

google turns up a lot of info: it is within the 1930s – 1940s vintage.
looks like you need a forklift to move it around – you may want to take that
into consideration if you go to buy it and pick it up.

Just looking it up real quick and the pictures I found show extremely short infeed and outfeed tables.

If you’re not working with long stock then it would work fine but if you’re going to be doing anything with long pieces, you might want to look elsewhere.

The price might be good as long as everything works and you won’t have to do a lot to refurbish.

Do you have a link with pics?

Well it seems the post has been deleted. Thanks for the quick reply though.
