Well, as i should know better, but when the glue pot is open, use it, dont’ ponder on what you are doing know before hand, well now, stiff glue is a pain,

and be ready, be prepared to clean off excess, before hand, cause as we all know glue seems to find every spot you don’t need it to stick to.

remember to clean glue off the clamps, the sure will work better.

wear safety glasses, when scrolling, i had on my readers and well they just don’t do enough for protection, as i found out. so ordered some safety glasses that will work as readers also.

fingers are subject to major ouch moments, seems like no matter how much you plan, and set up, i always seem to pinch or poke a finger, never major just that annoying little spurt of red stuff that well gets on everything.

And why is it, no matter how many clamps you have, there just are not ever enough,

I was showing my wife how to scroll saw, which she likes doing now, and for some reason broke two blades before the lesson continued, hmmmm.

in any event, the successful day in shop was four band saw boxes complete, ready to send to grandkids, and SIL, a couple boards (cheese boards) and roughed out a dozen or so cheese knives,
i sure enjoy spending time with the ole gal, it appears she likes helping out, or it could be the smell of burnt wood, urethane coatings, maybe she huffing and i don’t know it. lol
happy sunday
Rj in az.

I recently did a large piece with lacquer. My wife comes in to bring me fresh tea and exclaims, “Ohhh that smell is awful. How do you stand that?”

Wearing a respirator I replied, “what smell?”

LOL
