There are a lot of books and websites about using table saws, routers, drill presses, etc., but what about bench grinders? Where can I learn about bench grinders, grind stones, buffing wheels, wire wheels, dressing tools, tool rests, etc.? Google has produced some basic information, but nothing comprehensive.

I’ve got a book on sharpening but I can’t remember the name of it. I’ll have to look for you. I’ve got a few books on planes, especially about constructing wooden planes, that go into some pretty good detail. My Tormek came with a DVD that was really pretty good. I think I learned most about wheels, stones, etc. from the sharpening section of handplane books.
