I got so tired of calculating segment length I made a spreadsheet with radius increments of .125 andnd even number of segs (50) with results in segment length +/- 1/64. I will send to anyone if you PM me and say what program you want it for. I can convert to Lotus, Works. Windows, Excel.
I used formula of twice radius times pi divided by number of segments plus .125 blade kerf

The argument against that is having to input the info every time for every ring. BORING and easy to make a typo. Now I have a chart that is in the shop at the saw and I can recheck before each ring is started. “Measure twice, cut once.”
