Hi everyone!!
I am getting the HF 14’’ band saw after studying about it and came to conclusion that it’s OK. So I was wondering if a grizzly riser block fit a HF band saw? Or does any one of you know if HF sell riser blocks? I want to have maximum re-saw capacity on my saw.
Thanks

A riser block is “on the books” with HF parts/service dept. However it seems to be available on a very sporadic basis.

I think the tools sold by HF are made in the same asian factories as virtually every other tool “manufacturer”. I, for instance, bought the HF 5 speed 10” x 18” mini lathe and wanted an extension bed. HF did not offer an extension bed so I started looking around. Penn State Industries sells a lathe with exactly the same specs so I took a chance and bought their extension bed. Bingo, it fit like a glove. Perhaps you can find another brand of bandsaw that comes from the same place as the HF saw and then buy their riser block.
