who knows that yellow body normal for wenge or some spalted wood i have to work?

I’ve had pieces of wenge with this amount of yellow-orange and I don’t remember them finishing any differently (still a pain in the butt, I mean). I’m interested to hear what others think.

Wenge when planed can lighten considerably. Give it a day or so and the dark color will return.
