Topic tags/keywords: hand plane handplane stanley handyman bailey help question identify identifying vintage tool tools woodworking tools woodworking tip tips block plan no 3 lever cap

Hello Everyone, I have some pictures of a few hand planes that I would love help Identifying. Also one of them (#2) has a problem with the Lever Cap pushing down on the Lateral Lever, its pushing the Lateral Lever into the tote. Do anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it. I Believe #1 in the album is a Stanley Handyman, and #2 is a Stanley Bailey, But I am not 100% and would love your opinions. #3 and #4 I have no idea what they could be. #1 is the most important one I am looking to identify as it was my Grandfathers and its missing the Lever Cap. I would love to be able to replace it with the right Lever Cap and be able to use the plane my Grandfather once used.

Here is a link to the album: https://imgur.com/a/O4QdD

Thank you, I look forward to your opinions.

I’ll agree the first one is probably a handyman. I may also have a cap for it. The rest I’d need more pictures. I definitely don’t know what the one with a 38 on the frog. I’ve not seen that.
