Does liquid FlexSeal work well on outdoor wood?

no -

what in particular are you thinking of using it on ?

I belong to a couple of boat forums and many members have used this stuff
on their boats like the infomercial on TV and all come to the same conclusion
that this stuff is TERRIBLE for outdoor use. it quickly breaks down with UV exposure.
I would not use it for anything other than patching a flower pot.

I would be very suspicious about any product “as seen on TV”. I have followed almost every review of ASOTV products and pretty much all of them have low ratings.https://…/as-seen-on-tv-c46325.html…/as-seen-on-tv/internet/as...

Usually, things sold “as seen on TV” are products that wouldn’t succeed otherwise. That alone should tell you something about how good the product is (that it is gimmicky crap, mainly).

after getting a call from my brother for some assistance temporarily sealing some leaky gutters, we went up and grabbed a can of flex seal. its nothing more than rupperized undercoating used in the automotive field.

i wouldnt use it to seal wood.
