I have a dinosaur lurking in the corner of my shop taking up badly needed space—a Craftsman Radial Arm Saw. It’s at least 20 years old but is in good working condition and is certainly usable for anyone who had a good use for it.
Considering that there have been no fewer than 19 radial arm saws posted on Chicago Craigslist since Monday I have no delusions about selling this thing but I need to get it out of the shop. So, I thought I’d get creative and offer it to any local (Chicago north ‘burbs) Lumberjock who might want to trade some lumber for it. I’d take any reasonable offer of useable hardwood (no red oak, please) and will help the lucky recipient take it apart and carry it out.
If you’re interested, I’d be glad to send pictures. Oh, and if this isn’t a fantastic enough offer, I’ll throw in a genuine wobble dado head. Hard to resist that, huh?
