Topic tags/keywords: question

On a whim I bought the Wen tracksaw. Its a good saw for what I do.

Does anyone know, or have experience with, using the makita guide rail with one of the cheaper track saws?

As in shop fox, grizzly etc.

It looks as if it may work

Reason being I would like a long track and not connect two with the hassle that comes with that.

No experience with your inquiry Kaleb.

How about making your own? I’d try that as there’s no offerings in Wen’s website unless I missed it.

Good luck now

I’ve not seen one in person, but the Wen track saw looks like a dead ringer for the Grizzly and Sheppach one. I got the Sheppach-badged saw for a song from Amazon some years back. It’s a perfectly fine track saw. Not Festool quality, but it gets the job done.

If they’re the same model, the Grizzly and Shop Fox tracks will fit perfectly.

Thanks guys.

I just wanted to look for an long rail as opposed to a two shorter ones. There always seems to be some variance when joining two. That’s why the reason for the post about specifically that one.

Thanks again
