Is it ethical/permissible to sell old tool parts here on LumberJocks? I have some parts left over from an attempt to restore a rusty old jointer plane, and would like to sell them if possible. At least two forum members have offered to buy some of the parts from me, but I don’t know what LJ’s policy is.

you could post them under the “trade/swap” section in the forums.

Where is the “buy sell” section? I saw the Trade / Swap section, but I wasn’t sure if selling in that forum was appropriate.

Other members do it all the time. If you click on the forums tab at the top of the page you will see the trade and swap forum.
