HI friends

Since Charles and Randall are both friends of mine I thought I’d let you know that Charles Neil and Randall Child(both Lj members) are having a class to teach how to make a Maloof style rocker. I know there others out there are teaching this type of class but Randall has had personal instruction and Sams original patterns from Sam Maloof .Take a look at Randall’s work http://lumberjocks.com/projects/16042
This class should be a dream come true if you have every considered making a Maloof style rocker you will never have a better chance or folks with better credentials than Charles Neil and Randell child.
If your interested you need to move fast there’s only one opening left. I know the class cost $2500 but I don’t have all the details,so it’s best to contact Charles about were when and how of it. Charles@charlesneilwoodworking.com

Nice chair Jim, I was going to fly out to Montana and take Andy Chidwick’s class but Charles is much closer for me. Andy has 3 classes class running April 11th – April 22nd, July 25th-Aug 5, Sept 12th – Sept 23rd and is $2,855.00 for each 2 week class so for me $2500.00 and no plane fair is a bargain.
Thanks

Is this your chair that you built?

That’s Randalls chair. If you look at the first part of the post there’s a link showing more photos of his chair.
