According to my Unisaw blog: http://lumberjocks.com/jocks/KevinHuber/blog/series/533 it sounds like a new pulley is the best next step.

What kind of pulley do you all use/suggest on your Unisaw? Cast Iron from Delta or steel from a motor supplier?

Mine is a 3/4” keyed shaft, 3 belt pulley.

Myron, they sell the cast iron pulleys.

I keep hearing that I should get a steel pulley instead of cast iron.

Anyone know where i can get a steel pulley for a 36-812 Unisaw?

I couldn’t find a steel pully but the OEM ones have been used for over 50 years.

The OEM part number for the pully is 41-644.

Ordering directly from Delta will save you a big $2.00

Here is the complete parts list for your saw:

If I can’t find a steel one, I’ll get an OEM here. Thanks Gary.

That is a helpful website to have.
