I inherited a plane from my late father-in-law and am wondering the age and possible value of it. I don’t know the history of it but it was in a workbench drawer that came with a workbench I inherited as well. I have disassembled it and can account for all the parts. It seems functional and I guess not used much over the past 20-30 years as long as I have known him. I didn’t know about this plane until I was cleaning up the woodshop. Thanks for any help you can offer. I may also be interested in selling it.

Hello Sam, the logo on the plane cutter is from 1920’s. The condition and location where the plane is located has a lot to do with getting a good price, value is usually what the market will bare. With your plane, in the condition it is in 125.00 to 150.00 would be a good starting point. Ebay prices in excellent condition are asking more, but that doesn’t mean they will achieve that price. Hope this helps, have fun make some dust.
