My niece is getting married in April to someone in Gibson, PA…wouldn’t you know it, the groom’s father owns a lumbermill! I might show up for the wedding with my truck and trailer.
However, the most intriguing thing about Pennsylvania is the town of Centralia, in the coal mining district. Centralia is a once-thriving community now pretty much evacuated now… because of an underground coal fire that has been burning since 1962, and burns to this day. Smoke rises from fissures in the ground, which gradually settles due to cave-ins, making living there too hazardous.. Creepy footage can be seen on ‘Youtube’
