I will call you tomorrow, Tom. I live in Murrieta. I might be interested in taking it off your hands…

I might be able to take some off your hands if Childress can’t. I will call tomorrow.

Wow, I’ll take it. How much do you have and how long are the pieces? I don’t have a truck but I could probably fit 6 or 7 foot boards in my SUV. PM me if that’s ok. Thank you.

Tom, got the wood yesterday! Thanks man. Have it stacked in my shop and will probably let it sit this year and then see if I can come up with anything to make….

Also just resawed some of the bubinga to make some small bookmatched panels for some boxes. Exicited to see how they look all finished up as I’ve never worked with it before. Kinda had a spicy smell when milling.

Thanks again

hey MIKE R. if you want some logs you can call facilities maintenance at camp pendleton. that is where i got it. just ask them about the firewood lot. that is where they take all the trees from the base and dump them. also check at mcas miramar golf course. i used to be there and they had a lot too. hope this helps, or you can check about any local golf course or landfill. this trees grows all over s.d. county.
