My switch has gone bad. Looks the blue DC brake unit is bad and my repair guy doesn’t have any idea where to get a replacement. I think it is a UNISTOP switch and they are not made anymore. I have contacted the French company and gotten replacement feed gears but not switch yet. Any ideas on getting a replacement or a substitute?? Even willing to replace the motor with a new switch if need be. Hate to toss it because it has been a good tool for me.
Thanks,
Bob

I think you best hope it to call Jesse at Eagle tools in California. He use to be a distributor in the US for Inca. Garret wade use to also. Both Companies no longer import those but the might give you a lead on where to get parts. Jesse at Eagle Tools is probable you best bet and you can talk to him personally. Many times he answer the phone himself, if not just ask for him.

Thanks, You and Garrett Wade pointed me to Jesse. Sent him a note with a picture. Also have a contact in France that has offered to help if I can figure out mfg and model number of the switch.

Forget the note sending and call him on the phone. Jesse a cool guy and is very easy to converse with. Very friendly and helpful guy. Notes, and emails just eat up time.

Can you post a picture of the switch, particularly any markings it has on the side? Unless it’s some one-off proprietary thing designed and built specific for the manufacturer, it can probably be found through an electronic supply house, or at least a substitute can.

Cheers,
Brad
